Job summary

Jobtailor in Utah is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated tests for software used by insurance professionals. You will write and execute automated and manual tests as part of regression and release cycles, and contribute to the maintenance and improvement of automation frameworks and test suites.

Collaborate with developers and product partners on requirements and acceptance criteria, and explore AI-assisted testing techniques to improve effectiveness in our quality

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation.
• Strong experience with at least one object-oriented or scripting language commonly used in test automation.
• Understanding of testing methodologies, QA techniques, and best practices.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated tests for front-end and service-based applications.
• Solid understanding of Web APIs and how to interact with them.
• Ability to debug software applications using logs, stack traces, and debugging tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
• Experience with defect tracking and work management tools.
• Clear communicator and collaborative team member.
• Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset.
• Ability to manage priorities and work independently.
