Test and Validation Engineer – Automotive Lighting Systems

Location: Southfield, MI (Onsite) or Phoenix, AZ or Newark, CA

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

We are seeking an experienced Test and Validation Engineer with mandatory experience in testing automotive lighting systems to join an exciting opportunity with our direct client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans for automotive lighting systems.
• Perform functional, environmental, and photometric testing.
• Collaborate with design, development, and supplier teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry lighting standards and regulations.
• Analyze data, generate reports, and drive continuous improvement in test processes.

Required Experience & Skills:

• 5+ years in testing/validation of automotive lighting systems.
• Proficiency in optical measurements and photometric testing.
• Strong knowledge of automotive lighting standards.
• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
