LHH is working with a client in Windsor, CA who is looking for a Test and Measurement Key Account Manager. This role requires a Mechanical or Engineering Degree. This is a full-time, direct hire position that is 100% remote. You must be physically located in WA, OR, CA, or AZ and be a US Citizen or GC holder. The client cannot provide sponsorship or relocation.

The Test and Measurement KAM-West USA is responsible for managing key customers in the T&M sector and developing new key customers to support market growth in their territory. Focus is on mid- to large-sized OEMs, projects, and distributors.

The KAM will collaborate with the Global Head of Business, KAM-East (KAM-E), and Product Engineering at the overseas factory to ensure customer product demand is met and supplied within expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop opportunities within the T&M market to build the market presence.
  • Develop strong, trusting relationships with key customers.
  • Resolve client issues and understand product lifecycle needs to ensure products remain with the customer.
  • Coordinate with design, sales, marketing, logistics, and other departments to meet client needs and ensure high-quality materials.
  • Support execution of market-specific goals from HQ.
  • Prepare monthly status reports and analyze sales and order data.
  • Participate in organizations and committees to promote T&M products and understand market and regulatory demands.
  • Analyze business opportunities and liaise with relevant personnel for sound decision-making regarding potential returns.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of T&M product applications and market trends.
  • Identify needs for product extensions or new products based on market trends and customer requirements.
  • Assist in setting and revising annual sales goals and policies.
  • Make timely and responsible decisions aligned with company policies and objectives.
  • Participate in networking events, tradeshows, webinars, and marketing activities.
  • Ensure social media activities comply with company guidelines and monitor platforms for ongoing compliance.
  • Travel at least 25% of the time.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Effective communication and motivation skills across multiple mediums.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to update management and customers.

Education and Experience

  • BSEE or BSME or other technical degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant technical sales experience.
  • Proven success in direct sales of technical products.
