Job summary

DCS Corp seeks a Senior Test and Evaluation Specialist to support Air Force acquisition at Eglin AFB, FL. You will lead test concept development, methodology, planning, execution, data reduction, and end-user testing in a rigorous DoD program.

Candidates must have US citizenship and an Active Secret Clearance; associates with 15 years or a bachelor degree with 10 years relevant experience are considered, including DOE-based testing approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide T&E technical support across development, execution and reporting of tests.
• Apply Design of Experiments methods for test planning and execution.
• Prepare criteria, analyses, specifications, cost estimates and reports.
• Apply engineering techniques to analyze complex problems and data.
• Review results and conclusions from test engineering tasks.
• Develop innovative approaches to problems and complete tasks efficiently.
• Evaluate test environments for software releases and ensure readiness.
• De-conflict schedule conflicts between multiple releases and provide analysis.

Job description

DCS has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Test and Evaluation Specialist supporting fourth generation aircraft for an Air Force acquisition mission at Eglin AFB, FL. The candidate will provide test and evaluation technical and engineering support across test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, including data reduction and analysis and end-user operational testing.

Essential Job Functions:

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Provide T&E technical and engineering support by documenting the review, test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, data reduction and analysis, and end-user operational
• Utilize and apply Design of Experiments methods to plan and conduct tests
• Prepare (or advise others in the preparation of) criteria, computation/analyses, specifications, cost estimates test plans, and technical reports in the specific area of technical expertise.
• Select and apply engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specific problem, data, or other features of the work which are broad in scope and
• Review and evaluate the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from accomplishment of test engineering tasks.
• Develop new and innovative approaches to problems encountered, and accomplish assigned tasks with efficiency, timeliness, and thoroughness.
• Evaluate the configuration, capability, and operational relevance of test environments and ensure they are properly available for the thorough testing of software releases (e.g. fault insertion/fault identification).
• De-conflict schedule conflicts between multiple releases, providing high quality analysis and recommendations to the program test lead.
