Job summary

DCS Corp is seeking a Senior Test and Evaluation Specialist to support fourth generation aircraft for an Air Force acquisition mission at Eglin AFB, FL. You will provide test and evaluation engineering support across concept development, methodology, planning, execution, data reduction, and end-user testing.

The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, and a strong background in test planning, execution, and reporting. Travel may be required as part of project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant discipline with 10+ years of experience, or Associate’s degree with 15+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide test and evaluation support across test concept development, methodology, plan development, execution, and reporting.
• Apply Design of Experiments to plan and conduct tests.
• Prepare criteria, analyses, specifications, and test reports for technical areas of expertise.
• Evaluate test environments for software release testing and ensure readiness.
• De-conflict schedules across multiple releases; provide high-quality analysis and recommendations.

DCS has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Test and Evaluation Specialist supporting fourth generation aircraft for an Air Force acquisition mission at Eglin AFB, FL. The candidate will provide test and evaluation technical and engineering support across test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, including data reduction and analysis and end-user operational testing.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide T&E technical and engineering support by documenting the review, test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, data reduction and analysis, and end-user operational
• Utilize and apply Design of Experiments methods to plan and conduct tests
• Prepare (or advise others in the preparation of) criteria, computation/analyses, specifications, cost estimates test plans, and technical reports in the specific area of technical expertise.
• Select and apply engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specific problem, data, or other features of the work which are broad in scope and
• Review and evaluate the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from accomplishment of test engineering tasks.
• Develop new and innovative approaches to problems encountered, and accomplish assigned tasks with efficiency, timeliness, and thoroughness.
• Evaluate the configuration, capability, and operational relevance of test environments and ensure they are properly available for the thorough testing of software releases (e.g. fault insertion/fault identification).
• De-conflict schedule conflicts between multiple releases, providing high quality analysis and recommendations to the program test lead.

Required Skills

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, US Citizenship is required.

An Associate’s degree plus 15 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline plus 10 years of experience is required.

Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
