Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Test Analyst to join our QA team in the United States. You will analyze requirements, design and execute test strategies, and support automation efforts to guide development.

The role demands strong stakeholder communication, experience with iterative delivery, and a proactive, self-motivated mindset. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years’ Test Analyst experience, HP QC exposure, and an ISTQB Foundation Certification, plus an active SC Clearance.

Qualifications

• Have 2-3 years’ experience as a Test Analyst.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in iterative / incremental software delivery.
• Experience in fast paced environments to strict deadlines.
• Strong background in software integration and system testing.
• Experience of automated testing.
• Experience using HP QC.
• Experience of defining test strategy / test approach.
• Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated.
• Experience in supporting team success and motivating others to keep morale and performance high.
• Bachelor’s Degree or HNC in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• ISTQB Foundation Certification.
• Active SC Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis and validation.
• Defining and executing test strategies and scripts.
• Ensuring requirements traceability.
• Introducing/suggesting new processes and techniques.
• Accurate recording and monitoring of issues.
• Provide QA support to the development scrum teams to automate tests to guide development.
• Review test environments and processes to facilitate continuous improvement and maintain quality standards.
• Provide test estimates.
