We are looking for an experienced UAT Test Analyst to lead end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for a new global HR application. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UAT strategy, test planning, execution, defect management, and business sign-off, preferably within HR technology implementations.
This role requires an independent professional who can translate business requirements into comprehensive test scenarios, coordinate testing across multiple stakeholders and geographies, and ensure the application meets business expectations before deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End UAT Ownership: Independently manage the complete UAT lifecycle, from strategy and planning through execution, defect resolution, and final business sign-off.
- Test Strategy and Planning: Develop UAT strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and scripts from scratch based on documented business requirements.
- Test Execution and Coordination: Plan and coordinate UAT activities across business teams, product managers, and stakeholders in multiple regions.
- Requirements Analysis: Understand business requirements, identify testing needs, map business processes, and ensure adequate coverage of functional and regional scenarios.
- Defect Management: Log, prioritize, track, and coordinate defect resolution; conduct retesting and regression testing where required.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business users, product managers, HR teams, and technical teams to resolve queries, manage dependencies, and drive testing activities.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify testing risks, communicate blockers, elevate critical issues, and proactively drive them to closure.
- Business Sign-Off: Validate test completion criteria, consolidate test results, communicate readiness, and obtain formal business acceptance.
- Process Improvement: Establish structured UAT processes and documentation for a new enterprise-scale application, ensuring consistency across global workflows.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience independently leading end-to-end UAT, with clear ownership of planning, execution, defect management, and sign-off.
- Strong ability to develop UAT strategies, test plans, scenarios, and test scripts from scratch.
- Experience in HR technology implementations, preferably HR performance management, employee lifecycle processes, or related HR systems.
- Strong understanding of HR business workflows and the ability to translate requirements into practical, business-focused test scenarios.
- Experience with large-scale, complex, cross-functional implementations involving multiple stakeholders, business units, and geographies.
- Ability to establish UAT processes for a new application or platform, rather than focusing exclusively on enhancements to existing systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage competing priorities, and drive activities proactively.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO), test management tools, defect tracking systems, and structured testing methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting global HR transformation or enterprise HR application implementations.
- Exposure to HR performance management systems and related employee processes.
- Experience coordinating large-scale UAT sessions involving geographically distributed business users.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and collaboration between product, business, and technology teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a hands-on UAT leader, not just a test executor. They should be able to take documented requirements, independently understand the intended business outcomes, determine what needs to be tested, design the UAT approach, coordinate execution, and drive issues through to business sign-off.
Priority during candidate evaluation:
- Demonstrated end-to-end UAT ownership and independent execution.
- HR domain knowledge, especially performance management and employee lifecycle processes.
- Experience with complex, global enterprise implementations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and other testing tools.
