Job Description

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for consistently exceeding agreed upon new business production, direct written premium, and loss ratio goals, and other KPIs on an annual basis by effectively managing the agents of an assigned market to increase company market share by driving profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Fully Remote - Location Specific to Western PA - needs to be within 1 hour commute of Pittsburgh.
  2. Delivers on the business unit's annual execution plan (growth, profitability, agency engagement, new appointments) for their market under the guidance of a Regional Sales Manager and/or Zone Director.
  3. Positions and promotes full suite of NGACC Insurance products into Independent Agency Partners including personal auto, homeowners, commercial vehicle, flood, and recreational vehicle (based on state availability).
  4. Responsible for product/user integration with industry technology and comparative rating platforms within market and assigned agencies.
  5. Consults with Independent Agencies by having a strong knowledge of the channel, including industry competitors, brokers, and associations to gather market intelligence and promote NGAAC products or market enhancements.
  6. Develops and maintains the market's new agency appointment pipeline and supports corporate agreements at the local level.
  7. Collaborates with Product, Pricing, Operations for stakeholder and risk analysis on market issues.
  8. Maintains accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and follow-ups in CRM software.
  9. Evaluates agency performance, training gaps, and execution to business plans.
  10. Assists agencies in creating strategic business plans and reviews progress periodically.
  11. Acts as a key liaison within the market, field-facing 4 days a week, driving business initiatives.
  12. Focuses on increasing quote and issuance flow beyond rate and underwriting trends.
  13. Uses data and reporting to identify trends, capitalize on opportunities, and address agency performance issues.
Qualifications:
  1. Fully Remote - Location Specific to Western PA - needs to be within 1 hour commute of Pittsburgh.
  2. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  3. 5+ years of sales management/leadership experience in Personal Lines Carriers or Financial Services Industry.
  4. Proven ability to achieve results through internal relationship development.
  5. Industry certifications and property and casualty licenses are preferred.
  6. Residence in the market is preferred due to field travel.
Additional Information

This role is an individual contributor position.

Compensation ranges from $83,000 to $124,600 USD.
