Job Description

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for exceeding new business, premium, and KPI goals by managing agents in an assigned market to increase market share through profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fully Remote - Location Specific to Southern OH - must reside north of Lexington to Cincinnati, OH.
  • Execute the business plan for growth, profitability, agency engagement, and new appointments under guidance from regional leadership.
  • Promote NGACC Insurance products—auto, homeowners, commercial, flood, recreational—to independent agency partners.
  • Integrate products with industry technology and rating platforms within the market.
  • Consult with independent agencies, industry competitors, brokers, and associations to gather market intelligence and promote products.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline for new agency appointments and support national accounts and distribution initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Product, Pricing, and Operations teams for stakeholder and risk analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM.
  • Evaluate agency performance, identify training gaps, and support strategic planning.
  • Assist agencies in creating short-term and long-term business plans, reviewing and adjusting as needed.
  • Act as a key liaison within the market, field-facing four days a week, to drive business initiatives.
  • Increase quote and issuance flow beyond rate and underwriting trends.
  • Use data and reporting to identify trends, capitalize on opportunities, and address agency performance.
Qualifications:
  • Fully Remote - Location Specific to Southern OH - must reside north of Lexington to Cincinnati, OH.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of sales management/leadership in personal lines or financial services.
  • Proven ability to develop internal relationships and achieve results.
  • Industry certifications and property & casualty licenses are preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role is an individual contributor role.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $83,000 - $124,600 USD.
