Job summary

NC Education Lottery is seeking a Sales Representative for Greensboro to grow our retailer network and exceed territory goals. You will visit Alamance and Guilford counties, train staff on games, manage inventory, and promote promotions with friendly, professional service.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or 2 years in route sales, strong communication, and comfort with mobile apps such as Sales Wizard. A company vehicle and flexible hours support your daily outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 2 years’ route sales experience preferred.
• Strong sales and customer-relationship skills with the ability to build rapport and drive performance.
• Knowledge of lottery products, retailer operations, and sales best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers to exceed territory sales goals.
• Conduct regular retailer visits to analyze sales performance, review game inventory, and provide product training for revolving staff, and give promotional updates.
• Manage instant ticket inventory, facilitate activations, and ensure optimal product mix to maximize sales and minimize out-of-stocks while addressing shipping errors and ticket order issues.
• Utilize Sales Wizard daily to document retailer visits, service activities, inventory levels, and sales notes.
• Monitor vending machine performance (TVMs and SCIQ systems), ensuring planogram compliance and product availability of various price points and play styles.
• Support retailers with contract renewals, terminations, ownership changes, and compliance documentation.
• Organize and execute in-store promotions and player education events to drive awareness and engagement.
• Recruit and qualify new retailers by identifying high-potential locations and assisting with application completion.
