Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist to build retail partner relationships, educate merchants on client programs, and drive growth across an assigned Cincinnati territory.

The role is field-based with daily visits, Monday to Friday, and requires a vehicle, valid license, and MVR screening. You will visit local retailers, place POS materials, and report activity through mobile tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 6 months of prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience.
• Knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time.
• Reliable transportation within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner.
• Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits.
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence.
• Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store.
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met.
