Job summary

Cutting Edge Countertops Indianapolis seeks a Territory Representative for Central Indiana to support 52 home-center locations. You will build store partnerships, ensure a consistent customer experience, and drive revenue with base salary plus commission.

In this field-based role you will travel across Central Indiana, provide product training, maintain displays, and coordinate with store teams to resolve issues while delivering exceptional service and timely communication.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in outside sales or related customer-facing roles.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly across Central Indiana.
• Strong communication, organization, presentation, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and coordinate solutions across teams.
• Experience with countertops, kitchen/bath products, or home improvement retail is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily liaison among home-center teams, customers, and Cutting Edge Countertops.
• Visit 52-store Central Indiana territory to strengthen relationships and resolve issues.
• Deliver product knowledge and training for store associates on countertop options and care.
• Respond promptly to questions, set expectations, and coordinate solutions through completion.
• Maintain displays, samples, forms, and selling tools for each location.
• Build productive relationships with store leaders through regular communication and on-site visits.
• Grow revenue by increasing product awareness and converting interest into orders.
• Track store activity, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM.
• Monitor territory performance, market trends, and competitor activity; provide revenue forecasts.

Cutting Edge Countertops is seeking a Territory Representative — Central Indiana to provide daily support across 52 home-center store locations. This highly visible, field-based role serves as the primary connection among store teams, customers, and Cutting Edge Countertops, ensuring timely communication, strong follow-through, and a consistent customer experience.

What You Bring:

• Three to five years of outside sales, account management, retail support, or customer-facing field experience.


• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel regularly throughout Central Indiana.


• Strong communication, organization, presentation, and follow-through skills.


• Ability to build trusted relationships, respond quickly, and coordinate solutions across multiple teams.


• Experience with countertops, kitchen and bath products, construction, interior design, or home improvement retail is preferred.


• An associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide daily support and serve as the primary liaison among home-center store teams, customers, and Cutting Edge Countertops.


• Visit assigned locations throughout the 52-store Central Indiana territory to strengthen relationships, resolve issues, and identify opportunities.


• Deliver engaging product-knowledge and process training for store associates, including countertop options, ordering, installation, product care, and warranty information.


• Respond promptly to questions and service concerns, set clear expectations, and coordinate solutions through completion.


• Maintain displays, samples, forms, and other selling tools so each location is prepared to support customers effectively.


• Build productive relationships with store leaders and associates through regular communication, on-site visits, and dependable follow-through.


• Grow incoming monthly revenue by increasing product awareness, supporting store teams, identifying opportunities, and helping convert customer interest into orders.


• Track store activity, customer interactions, opportunities, and follow-up actions in the CRM.


• Monitor territory performance, customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activity; provide reliable revenue forecasts and updates.


• Participate in store events, networking opportunities, and trade shows as needed.
