Job summary

McClatchy Media in Franklin, TN seeks a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple stores within a defined territory. The role requires frequent travel and a strong focus on merchandising standards, documentation, and timely store visits.

You’ll work under the Supervisor of Merchandising, with a schedule set on weekdays and travel up to 100%. The position includes a retention/referral bonus after 3 months and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities.
• Able to multitask and stay detail oriented.
• Conduct yourself professionally and adhere to attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel between stores.
• Proficient with Movista and other required applications.
• Must have a personal cell phone/tablet for work.
• Comfort with Word, internet, and email tools.

Responsibilities

• 100% merchandising in assigned stores following standards.
• Replenish product safely and efficiently, assemble displays if needed.
• Service stores per schedule and obtain approval for overtime.
• Record work hours and related data via prescribed apps.
• Communicate duties with supervisor before performing non-listed tasks.
