Job summary

McClatchy Media Company in Brentwood, TN is seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser to service product in multiple stores and travel between accounts. This on-site role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, reliability, and the ability to follow planograms and schedules.

Travel may be up to all territory, and a background check and drug test are required. You will record hours in company systems and coordinate with the Supervisor of Merchandising to complete merchandising tasks.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay detail-oriented.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Proficient with Word, internet, and email applications.
• Able to conduct self in a professional manner.
• Background check, 4-panel drug test and MVR clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products in retail stores following standards.
• Safely replenish product and assemble displays per planograms.
• Service stores on designated hours; obtain supervisor approval for overtime.
• Record work hours and data using designated applications.
• Discuss duties with supervisor before performing them.
• Other duties as assigned.
