Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Senior Account Specialist to lead sales in Upstate NY, Connecticut and surrounding areas. You will develop territory strategies, plan calls, forecast, and drive product usage through demonstrations and education for plastic surgeons or dermatology sectors.

The role requires 2+ years of B2B medical sales, strong communication, and the ability to travel ~75% with occasional overnights. Base pay ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 plus bonus and incentives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years B2B sales experience required.
• Experience selling medical consumables to surgeons or dermatologists in an FDA-regulated environment preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a sales strategy for the territory and customer base.
• Drive territory penetration, call planning, time management, and accurate forecasting.
• Increase utilization through product demonstrations, customer training, and education (indications, contradictions, safety).
• Execute launch installation action plans; leverage reward programs/enrollment tools to drive consumable usage.
• Coordinate user meetings and intro workshops; support tradeshows and workshops.
• Develop/maintain key relationships; identify new customers; maintain and grow existing base; perform business evaluations/reviews.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on industry and competitive products.
• Maintain collaboration and consistent communication with surgical/non-surgical specialists, marketing, and clinical counterparts.
• Generate leads and cross-selling opportunities for Capital Equipment Specialists.
• Prepare sales contracts (terms, quotes, pricing).
• Admin tasks: quarterly business plans, maintain account profiles/customer database, expense reports.
• Build customer loyalty through superior service, communication, and maximizing customer contact.
