Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Account Specialist to lead sales efforts across Upstate NY/Connecticut and surrounding areas. The role calls for strategic territory planning, effective call execution, and strong relationship management with plastic surgeons or dermatologists in FDA-regulated settings.

You will drive demonstrations, trainings, and exchanges with both clinical and marketing teams, while maintaining accuracy in forecasts and closing deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years B2B sales experience.
• Experience selling consumables/medical products to plastic surgeons or dermatologists in an FDA-regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a sales strategy for assigned territory and customer base.
• Drive territory penetration with effective call planning, time management, and accurate forecasting.
• Increase utilization via product demonstrations, and customer training/education on indications, contradictions, and safety.
• Execute launch installation action plans; leverage reward programs/enrollment tools to drive consumable usage.
• Coordinate user meetings/intro workshops; support tradeshows/workshops.
• Develop and maintain key relationships; identify new customers and grow existing base; conduct business evaluations/reviews.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on the industry and competitive products.
• Collaborate and maintain consistent communication with surgical/non-surgical specialists and marketing/clinical teams.
• Generate leads and cross-selling opportunities for Capital Equipment Specialists.
• Prepare sales contracts (terms, quotes, pricing).
• Administrative tasks: quarterly business plans, account profiles/customer database, expense reports.
• Build customer loyalty through superior service and maximizing customer contact.
