Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Account Specialist to drive sales in Upstate NY, CT and surrounding areas. You will build territory strategy, manage calls, demonstrations, and training, and coordinate launches while developing key customer relationships.

Requires 2+ years B2B sales, knowledge of medical terminology, and willingness to travel ~75%. Base pay $90K–$120K plus bonus; comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• 2+ years B2B sales required.
• Experience selling consumables/medical products to plastic surgeons/dermatologists in a highly regulated FDA environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, surgical techniques/procedures.
• Strong planning/organization, influence/closing, time management, and written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a sales strategy; penetrate territory; plan calls; manage time; forecast accurately.
• Drive utilization via product demonstrations, and customer training/education (indications, contradictions, safety).
• Execute launch installation action plans; use reward/enrollment tools to drive consumable usage.
• Coordinate user meetings/intro workshops; support tradeshows/workshops.
• Develop/maintain key customer relationships; identify new customers; build existing base; conduct business evaluations/reviews.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on industry and competitive products.
• Maintain collaboration and consistent communication with surgical/non-surgical specialists, marketing, and clinical teams.
• Generate leads and cross-sell opportunities for Capital Equipment Specialists.
• Prepare sales contracts (terms, quotes, pricing); complete quarterly business plans, account profiles/customer database, expense reports.
• Build customer loyalty through superior service and communication.
