Job summary

Sysco Specialty Meat Group is seeking a results-driven sales professional to execute and expand the assigned territory in Salem and Eugene, Oregon. You will promote Sysco products, secure orders from existing and prospective customers, and build lasting relationships to maximize sales and gross profit.

Responsibilities include in-person visits, order coordination with inside sales, monitoring stock and transportation, and staying current on market conditions.

Qualifications

• Meat and seafood knowledge with restaurant/culinary background.
• Strong consultative sales ability.
• Self-motivated with time management discipline.

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers in the territory to generate new business.
• Make in-person visits and presentations to customers.
• Take customer orders with goals to maximize sales and gross profit/stop.
• Coordinate input of orders with inside sales partners.
• Respond quickly to customer problems and needs.
• Review stock, transportation issues and implement timely solutions.
