Job summary

ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel is seeking a Territory Manager to support and expand our presence across the US Great Lakes region. This role is responsible for driving both capital equipment andAftermarket sales, including pellet mill rolls, dies, spare parts, and related solutions for customers within the feed and biofuel industries.

The ideal candidate is a relationship-focused sales professional who thrives in a customer-facing environment, enjoys solving technical and commercial challenges, and is passionate about helping customers maximize performance and productivity.

What You'll Do

Sales & Territory Development

  • Provide continuous territory coverage and support through customer visits, virtual meetings, and phone contact.
  • Pursue both new equipment and Aftermarket sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute customer-specific strategies to grow market share and expand business within the installed base.
  • Develop key account strategies to maintain a competitive position and maximize order intake.
  • Monitor industry and competitive trends and maintain awareness of competitor activities.
Customer & Business Support
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and internal departments to quickly resolve technical and commercial issues.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong business relationships that support long-term customer success.
  • Negotiate sales terms and conditions that align with ANDRITZ requirements.
  • Respond with urgency to customer needs and support customer satisfaction initiatives.
Proposal & Opportunity Management
  • Support the preparation of sales proposals for both Aftermarket and capital equipment opportunities.
  • Follow up on outstanding proposals and drive opportunities toward successful closure.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity documentation.
  • Provide call reports and monthly territory activity reports.
Internal Collaboration
  • Partner with Engineering, Customer Service, Order Execution, and other internal teams to ensure successful project handoff and execution.
  • Interface with engineering and order fulfillment teams for transfer of new equipment orders.
  • Represent ANDRITZ at customer events, trade associations, and industry conferences through sales and equipment presentations.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Agriculture, Feed Science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the Feed Mill industry or other Grain-related markets.
  • Technical degree preferred.
Sales & Business Acumen
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic customer growth plans.
  • Experience negotiating commercial terms and conditions.
  • Strong ability to build and grow customer relationships.
  • Knowledge of market dynamics and competitive positioning.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong command of English language and grammar.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to professionally represent ANDRITZ when interacting with customers and industry stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to think logically and methodically when addressing customer and business challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Technical & Computer Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, databases, and related business software.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of information while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.

Additional Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and/or 7+ years of experience.
  • 3 years of Project Management experience.
  • Experience coordinating and facilitating meetings.
  • Experience coaching others.
  • Prior experience using collaboration tools such as SharePoint for document management and sharing.
  • Understanding of shared services environments.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across teams, departments, and functions.
  • Proven analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret technical documentation and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to present ideas and solutions in a user-friendly manner.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
Travel Requirements
  • Approximately 35%+ travel is expected and may vary based on business needs and project activity.
  • Domestic travel throughout the territory is required.
  • Some international travel may be required.
  • Occasional weekend, off-hours, and on-call support may be necessary.
