Job summary

Radius Health is seeking a Territory Manager for the Roanoke region to drive sales, build relationships with hospitals, endocrinologists and rheumatologists, and grow product adoption.

You will develop disease state knowledge to engage in clinical dialogue, educate on indications and safety, support on‑label prescribing and coordinate with stakeholders to optimize formulary opportunities while meeting KPIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in orthopedics, injectable pharmaceuticals, biologics, buy-and-bill or medical device preferred.
• Experience calling on hospitals, endocrinologists and rheumatologists preferred.
• Understanding of account-based selling, osteoporosis, biologic and injectable markets a significant plus.
• Experience working with Specialty Pharmacies, Distribution Hubs, and Managed Care providers to ensure customers' and patients' needs are addressed.
• Bachelor's Degree (any major) from an accredited college or university; valid driver's license; may require overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive outstanding sales performance that meets or exceeds forecasts.
• Effectively uses assigned budgets to drive therapeutic and territory expectations; tailor discussions to customer's needs in a compliant manner.
• Maintains current understanding of local market, practice structures, business models, and key influencers.
• Regularly share information with Radius stakeholders and work with customers to understand practice structure and opportunities.
• Provides input into resource allocation decisions and selects programs/resources for customers and systems.
• Use analytical tools to understand the business and determine how to accomplish sales objectives; apply resources effectively.
• Develop a local business plan with leadership to achieve KPI goals and capitalize on formulary opportunities.
• Coordinate selling efforts with Radius personnel around common objectives.
• Provide timely administrative management of work hours, sales call data, objectives, responses, synchronization, samples, and expenses.
