Job description

Position
  • You are responsible for the sales of energy systems and instruments as well as imaging equipment and disposables for the region East- & West-Flanders.
  • The energy product portfolio is highly innovative and includes several generators like e.g. the USG-410, the world’s first and smallest generator which activates both hybrid (Thunderbeat) and ultrasonic (Sonicbeat) energy in a single unit.
  • The imaging product portfolio offers state-of-the-art solutions for superior endoscopic and surgical visualization. The product range includes HD, 3D and 4K imaging systems, CAD systems, camera heads, light sources, monitors, the ORBEYE surgical microscope, ultrasound processors, and video processors.
  • You give support and product information towards health care professionals (nurses, surgeons, biotechnicians, hospital pharmacies, purchasing departments …), mainly in the fields of general surgery, gynaecology, urology and ear, nose, throat surgery.
  • During your onboarding, you are intensively trained on the products so you can build up technical knowledge and expertise in the energy & imaging portfolio, in order to assure and reinforce the company market share.
  • You analyse the customer’s needs in order to propose the correct technical solutions.
  • You prepare and negotiate technical offers, customized to the customer.
  • You attend demonstrations, fairs and congresses.
  • You are responsible for your own planning and follow-up of customer visits.
  • You keep your eyes open to get to know the market, products and competition.
  • You are responsible for prospecting and the realization of your commercial targets.
  • You can count on the know-how and coaching of the Sales & Product Manager to whom you report.
Profile
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of commercial experience.
  • Preferably knowledge ofhospital environment and healthcare trends.
  • Experience with tender processes is an asset.
  • Fluent user of MS Office and CRM systems.
  • You have a native level of Dutch and you are fluent in English. A professional knowledge of French is an extra asset.
  • You are a commercial expert with a strong drive for results and strong negotiation skills. You are able to analyze, segment, and target key accounts, as well as maintain existing customer loyalty while prospecting for new clients.
  • You are resilient and can cope with failure.
