Job Title: Territory Manager (District Executive)

Location: Chesterfield, Missouri (Greater St. Louis Area Council, 63 counties) – The role is based in St. Louis, Missouri.

Position type: Full Time.

Overview

$44,000 base salary with up to $10,000 performance incentive bonus. Benefits include major medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, 403(b) retirement plan with company match, PTO 22 days, paid holidays, continuing education and tuition assistance, public service loan forgiveness, and reimbursement for business expenses.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a designated territory (district) of multiple counties within Greater St. Louis Area Council.
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, volunteers, businesses, and other organizations.
• Drive financial growth, membership recruitment, and volunteer development.
• Plan and execute events, marketing campaigns, and fundraising activities.
• Provide excellent customer service to members and community stakeholders.
• Communicate and collaborate with council leadership and state council team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. (Required)
• US work authorization. (Required)
• Sales experience: 1 year preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Valid driver's license.
• Age 21 or older (unless prohibited by law).
• Willingness to travel for training (once per year for 1–2 weeks).
• Ability to lift 20 pounds regularly.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• People-oriented, able to work with volunteers and community leaders.
• Non-profit, fundraising, sales, or marketing experience a plus.
• Scouting background helpful but not required.

Requirements

• Accept and meet Scouting America's leadership and membership standards and subscribe to the Scout Oath and Law.
• Willingness to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Must currently live or be willing to relocate to boundaries of the service area.
• Must be able to travel for training at least once a year for one to two weeks.
