Reports to: Manager or Director. No direct reports.
Qualifications include an undergraduate degree, pursuit of insurance coursework (preferred), and at least seven years of relevant surety underwriting experience. Knowledge of state laws, underwriting standards, and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
Other criteria, including leadership skills and competencies, may be prioritized. Staffing exceptions require approval from the hiring manager and HR.

Work Conditions: Extended or non-standard hours and extensive travel may be required. A valid driver’s license and safe driving record are necessary.
