Position Summary:

We are seeking a driven Territory Manager to oversee a top producing territory covering the Mid-Atlantic. This role is responsible for managing and growing sales through 2-step distributors, lumberyards, and dealer networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing accounts while developing new relationships with 2-step distributors, dealers, and lumberyards.
  • Execute territory growth strategies to exceed annual sales targets.
  • Train and support distributor sales teams and dealer staff on product knowledge, value propositions, and upselling techniques.
  • Conduct regular in-person visits and jobsite follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and build brand loyalty.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (marketing, product, and customer service) to deliver outstanding support to the channel.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and association meetings to represent the brand and gather market intel.

Qualifications:

  • Must live within Territory (Mid-Atlantic).
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience in the Building Materials industry.
  • Proven success working with 2-step distribution and/or lumberyards.
  • Self-starter with strong time management and territory planning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be willing to travel throughout the territory (including overnight travel 1-2 nights/week).
