Job summary

The Hillman Group in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers within a defined geography. You will discuss customer needs, quote products, and manage the territory to achieve the sales plan while delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities include meeting customers, creating quotations, coordinating with inside sales, traveling as needed, and representing the company at trade shows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of retail sales experience in the hardware industry.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Meets with customers to discuss company products; may take inventory and suggest orders; serves as outside contact to customers.
• Develops product knowledge and answers customer questions about Hillman products.
• Creates customer quotations and prepares routine and special-order paperwork.
• Works with Inside Customer Service / Sales Team to finalize orders.
• Drives daily to meet with customers and expand the sales territory.
