Job summary

Filevine is seeking a proactive Field Sales Representative to launch our new field motion in Houston. You will build the playbook, own a defined territory, and develop relationships with law firms, paralegals, and partners to sell our deposition solutions as a premium offering.

You’ll be in the field four days a week, travel within the territory, and craft a compelling value story that differentiates Filevine in a competitive market. A driver’s license and local presence are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of outside sales experience, ideally B2B and in a field/territory model.
• Builder's mindset — energized by white space, ambiguity, and creating repeatable success.
• Proven track record building a book of business from in-person relationships.
• Ability to engage with paralegals and attorneys at all levels, including managing partners.
• Skilled at selling a premium product by focusing on value over price.
• High activity, high agency: own your pipeline and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Build the initial sales playbook for your territory, test approaches, and document what works.
• Own a defined geographic area and plan daily routes to maximize face-to-face time with attorneys and staff.
• Spend four days per week in the field meeting law firm personnel and building relationships.
• Win by approaching gatekeepers, scheduling meetings, and guiding pricing discussions with senior partners.
• Sell Filevine's deposition stack (court reporting, remote depositions, AI tools) as a premium offering.
• Enable new firms with onboarding, first depositions, and product adoption support.
