PGW Auto Glass LLC is seeking a Territory Director to lead supply chain operations across multiple distribution centers in North America. You will drive warehouse performance, oversee receiving, storage, shipping, and safety programs, and align logistics with customer service goals.

Based in a home office with up to 70% travel, this role demands a strong background in warehouse leadership, excellence in team development, and collaboration across the supply chain to meet cost, safety, and quality

Job description

The Territory Director provides leadership for the supply chain operations within an assigned area of the distribution network. This position is accountable for achieving company objectives , performance standards , and operating expense goals at multiple distribution centers within a defined geographical territory within North America. The incumbent is responsible for the overall servicing of customers within the territory, as well as the overall management and performance of the warehouse facilities within the region including warehouse operations, customer relations, quality, safety, and security.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develops and directs all Managers to ensure efficient and cost-effective warehouse operations.
• Oversees all distribution services including receiving, storing, shipping, handling returned/damaged product, and administrative duties to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Develops and executes account planning strategies to increase sales bymaintainingor growing existing business as well as capitalizing on new business.
• Accountable to achieve all metrics associated with each warehouse facility; directs the operations of warehouse managers to achieve prescribedobjectives.
• Recruits, hires, and trains a productive warehouse management team; matches the skill and background of candidates to the workrequired.
• Monitors space layout plan at each warehouse to ensure it continues to meet company standards.
• Directsprograms to ensure the safety of all employees, equipment, and property.
• Monitorthe safetyperformance of the warehousefacilitiesto ensureall work-related injuries areimmediatelyreported in compliance with EH&S processes.
• Ensurecompliance withappropriate governmentregulations.
• Maintains a professional relationship with all customers.
• Audits operations to ensure service and safety standards are being met.
• Ensureaccurateinventory control for product.
• Ensurethe security of the warehouse facilities.
• Participates in Labor contract negotiations as requested.
• Assumes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• BS Degreerequiredand at least five (5) years in a regional distribution leadership role.

• Working knowledge of warehouse and transportation management systems.
• Must be able to effectively communicate within the organization and business units throughout the company, and with partners across the supply chain.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Based out of theincumbent'shome office, the Regional Distribution Director is required to travel up to 70% of the time, and during travel is exposed to an industrial warehouse and customer environment which may include working near moving mechanical machinery with a high noise level and hot and cold climate based on weather.
• Minimal physical effort isrequired. Work is mostlysedentary,but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, and very occasionally lifting or carrying objects that weigh up to 50 lbs.
