NeoGenomics is seeking a Territory Business Manager in IL who is eager to learn and contribute to our growth. This position is open to remote candidates within IL.

Position Summary:

The Territory Business Manager (TBM) reports to the Regional Director and serves as the primary contact for all accounts within their territory. Responsibilities include calling on stakeholders such as pathology, community and hospital oncology, academic centers, reference labs, and private physician groups, selling our full portfolio. The TBM aims to expand market share, maintain existing business, and acquire new customers, managing the entire sales process and coordinating with specialist teams like OSS, CSS, and KAM.

Responsibilities:
  1. Achieve annual sales goals by managing customer needs within the territory.
  2. Own relationships with Tier A, B, C accounts and support Tier A accounts with KAMs.
  3. Lead the sales process for assigned accounts, collaborating with OSS and CSS to maximize account value.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
  5. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  6. Coordinate with marketing and product teams for strategic growth.
  7. Stay informed on industry trends and competitors.
  8. Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through proactive communication.
  9. Promote products through consultative sales, develop territory coverage plans, and provide routine service.
  10. Engage in market development activities, including product training and feedback collection.
  11. Maintain accurate records in SFDC and develop account-specific strategies.
  12. Build relationships across organizations and leverage contacts to meet business objectives.
  13. Participate in industry events and manage sales administration tasks.
  14. Adhere to company policies, including HIPAA compliance and safety standards.
Experience, Education, and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or business; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in a clinical or laboratory environment preferred.
  • Strong closing skills and prior sales training are a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of clinical or laboratory products and markets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel up to 75%.
