Job description

Pharmacy Solutions Consultant (PSC)

**This territory will cover East Missouri, Southern Illinois & Surrounding Des Moines, IA area**

Job Overview:

Responsible for managing customer relationships within an assigned set of existing customers to achieve the goals of Cardinal Health and the Customer.

Demonstrate the value of the Cardinal Health Solution suite, building long-term relationships and supporting customers and the Sales Team as a "True Solutions Expert." The solutions offered range from straightforward to moderately complex.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assess, analyze, and consult with customers about their business needs to determine appropriate solutions and optimal timing to maximize efficiencies and margins.
  2. Develop plans and recommendations based on customer analysis to influence decision-making, using objective data to support solutions.
  3. Utilize pharmaceutical supply chain tools, lead project activities, and record all activities in the CRM system.
  4. Drive operational efficiencies within assigned customers by selecting suitable solutions.
  5. Serve as the primary contact and expert for the solution suite, supporting customers in solution selection.
  6. Collaborate with the sales team and internal support to meet objectives and ensure customer transitions are smooth.
  7. Engage actively in customer calls, internal meetings, and utilize the solutions toolkit effectively.
  8. Prepare reports, communications, and presentations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a consultative environment preferred but not required.
  • Strong business acumen preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Anticipated pay range: $89,600 - $109,290 (including targeted variable pay).
  • Bonus eligibility included.
  • Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, paid time off, HSA, 401k, flexible spending accounts, disability coverage, work-life resources, paid parental leave, health programs.
