Job summary

Willamette Pass Resort is seeking an experienced terrain park technician to create, maintain and inspect park features with constant rotation. You will test features, perform safety checks, and assist with events during the season while delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have expert freestyle skiing/snowboarding skills and the ability to work 8-10 hour days in varying winter conditions, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of terrain park design, risk management, construction and maintenance.
• Knowledge of rail setting and raking techniques.
• Expert skill in freestyle skiing or snowboarding.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment and endure variable conditions.
• Weekend and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Support creation, maintenance, inspection and rotation of terrain park features.
• Test all terrain park features and perform safety checks.
• Participate in snow shoveling, raking and moving snow for 8-10 hours daily.
• Assist with events held at the terrain park during the season.
• Monitor operations for regulations and safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service while performing routine tasks.
