Job summary

Hatcher Alpine Xperience in Palmer, Alaska is seeking a Part-time Terrain Park Crew member to support daily preparation and maintenance of terrain park features. This role requires 18+ years old, advanced skiing/riding ability, and comfort working outdoors in cold conditions.

Prior terrain park experience is preferred. The position is part-time and seasonal, averaging about 20 hours per week during the operating season, with a Thursday through Monday schedule and eligibility for background

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily morning inspection and maintenance of terrain park features to prepare for opening.
• Conduct daily morning inspection and maintenance of signs and ropelines to prepare terrain park for opening.
• Assist Ski Patrol in closing terrain park and conducting AIs during terrain park related incidents.
• Under the direction of the Snow Surfaces Manager, assist in terrain park design and construction.

Hatcher Alpine Xperience is a 501c(3) tax-exempt organization developing Skeetawk; a new alpine ski, snowboard, and recreation facility in Hatcher Pass (Palmer) Alaska. We are hiring a Part-time Terrain Park Crew member to support daily preparation and maintenance of terrain park features.

Required Qualifications
