Job summary

Google seeks a Software Engineer to drive the Terraform Provider for Google Cloud, applying agentic AI to transform the authoring, testing and release process. You will work on large-scale infrastructure and Go-based tooling in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, design reviews, and contributions to documentation while delivering reliable IaC solutions for Google Cloud customers globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of software development or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• 2 years in large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or compute/storage tech.
• Experience in Go and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Generative AI/ML infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
• Review code and provide feedback for best practices.
• Contribute to documentation and education content.
• Triage issues and diagnose impact on hardware, network, or service operations.
