Job summary

Amentum is seeking an ACCOM ATC Specialist, TERPS Manager to lead TERPS personnel and provide expert guidance on Instrument Procedures. You will ensure compliance with FAA, NATO and ICAO criteria across procedure development and reviews.

The role requires coordination with FAA and Air Traffic peers, travels to CONUS/OCONUS as needed, and active SECRET clearance eligibility. Expect broad responsibility in a government contracting environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a DoD/FAA TERPS ATC course.
• Four years TERPS experience including GPD & PANS-OPS.
• Experience with TERPS programs (DoD/USAF/ICAO/FAA).
• Familiar with FTIP, TERPS, GPD software and OE/AAA.
• Designee must be certified per AFI/ICAO standards.
• Proficient with automation systems in ATC environments.
• Effective oral and written communication; ability to coordinate with FAA and partners.
• SECRET Clearance required (US citizenship for clearance).

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership to TERPS personnel based on customer needs.
• Perform TERPS operational functions per contract requirements.
• Coordinate research into procedural issues; provide senior technical support.
• Travel CONUS/OCONUS for FAA procedure reviews.
• Assess effects of obstructions, airports, NAVAID outages on procedures.
• Review aeronautical information for accuracy and content.
• Initiate corrective action and amendments as needed.
• Provide background information to FAA for NOTAMs when required.
• Coordinate with FAA Tech Ops and Air Traffic personnel.
• Represent USAFCENT in aeronautical information recommendations.
• Apply FAA/NATO/ICAO criteria to procedures from host nations.
• Oversee projects from conception to implementation to ensure accuracy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
