Job summary

Terminix is seeking a Termite Technician to protect customers’ properties from wood-destroying organisms, serving as the first line of defense for homes and businesses.

You will perform inspections, prevention, and treatment services, explain findings to customers, and ensure safety and compliance with company guidelines. Roles require physical stamina to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a focus on quality and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license in state of residence.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience; termite control a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Be flexible with working hours; Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (covered by us).
• Basic math skills — follow mixing instructions and product labels.

Responsibilities

• Identify termite problems and knowledge of termite behaviors to determine remedial steps.
• Perform termite treatment services safely and according to guidelines.
• Applying anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule and safety procedures.
• Explain to customers critical conditions conducive to termite activity and discuss procedures/modifications.
• Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order.
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
• Complete production forms documenting services provided.
• Interact with customers and explain services provided.
