Job summary

Rentokil Pest Control seeks a Termite Technician to protect customers properties from wood-destroying organisms. You will inspect, prevent, and treat structures, creating peace of mind and comfort for clients.

You will work in varied environments, perform ladder work up to heights, and communicate findings to customers. A high school diploma or GED and a valid drivers license are required; prior termite control experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid drivers license from state of residence.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience; termite control is a plus.
• Be flexible with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (covered by us).
• Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Identify customers termite problems and knowledge of termite behaviors to determine remedial steps.
• Perform termite treatment services safely and per guidelines and practices.
• Apply anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule and label instructions.
• Communicate critical conditions to customers and discuss procedures and structural modifications.
• Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order.
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
• Complete production forms documenting services provided.
• Interact with customers and explain services provided.
