Job summary

The Terminix International Company Limited Partnership is seeking a dedicated Termite Technician to protect customers' homes by inspecting for termite activity, performing treatments, and communicating findings. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer interaction as part of a broader pest control service offering.

You will work in varied environments, on structures and in crawl spaces, with PPE and safety protocols, and may require lifting and climbing during standard duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience; termite control is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Be flexible with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations (covered by us).
• Basic math skills—add/subtract/multiply/divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Identify termite problems and knowledge of termite behavior to determine remedial steps.
• Perform termite treatment services safely and according to guidelines and practices.
• Apply anti-termite treatments to structures per schedule and safety procedures.
• Communicate critical conditions conducive to termite activity and discuss procedures or structural modifications.
• Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order.
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
• Complete production forms documenting services provided.
• Interact with customers and explain services provided.
• Tolerate various environmental conditions and climb to 20 feet on ladders.
• Prepare the job site for treatment and navigate structures, crawl spaces, and stairs.
• Wear PPE including respirators and work in confined spaces as needed.
