Job summary

HomeTeam Pest Defense, Inc. is seeking a Termite Technician (Maintenance) to service homeowners along a regular route. You will diagnose pest issues, present treatments, and maintain a professional appearance with company equipment. Training is provided and licensing can be obtained through company-paid programs.

The role emphasizes independent work, safety on construction sites, and opportunities for career advancement within the organization.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training will be provided!
• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain termite technician or pest control licensing (company paid)

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners while on your route.
• Present a professional appearance, including truck, equipment, and uniform.
• Discuss and diagnose pest issues with homeowners, offering additional services
• Obtain termite technician credentials and stay current with training
• Submit legible service tickets to office staff promptly
• Complete home termite drawings and provide to office staff
• Keep customers informed about the service and progress
• Work independently while staying motivated and focused
• Perform chemical pretreats on lots and final grade treatments on new homes

Termite Technician (Maintenance)

Responsibilities

As a HomeTeam Termite Technician, you can expect to:

• Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners every day as you work your route
• Present a professional, tidy appearance, including your company truck, equipment, and uniform
• Discuss and diagnose pest issues with homeowners, offering additional services or products when needed or desired
• Obtain your pest control Registered Technician credentials
• Keep your knowledge sharp by attending company provided pest & termite control training classes regularly
• Submit legible, accurate service tickets to office staff
• Complete home drawings (termites) and provide to office staff
• Keep customer informed about the service
• Stay motivated and focused while you work independently
• Termite Technicians perform chemical pretreats to lots prior to a foundation pour, and final grade treatments to newly built homes that have yet to be occupied.
  • They are typically on construction sites and must be aware of all safety protocols.
