Job summary

Aptive Environmental, LLC is seeking a hard‑working Termite Pest Control Technician for full‑time, road‑based work around Virginia Beach, VA. The role reports to the Virginia Beach office weekly and involves daily route tasks along with driving a company vehicle and utilizing the gas card.

Responsibilities include servicing routes, maintaining equipment, applying pesticides per laws, and documenting treatments. Training is provided; advancement opportunities exist with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Clean driving record: no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two in the past four years.
• Result of drug test and background check performed on all new hires.
• Will carry a product backpack weighing ~50 lb and may work every other Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply, and work with pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert for customers, implementing the most efficient pest solution for each customer’s needs.
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures.
• Advise customers of potential problems.
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes.
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage.

Job Overview

We are seeking a hard‑working, innovative, detail‑oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full‑time Termite Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around VirginiaBeach,VA. The role reports to our office in VirginiaBeach once per week and involves daily route work. Pay ranges from $17.50 to $19.50 an hour.

Key aspects of this position include driving a company vehicle (which can be taken home nightly), working outside your local area, and using the vehicle’s gas card and professional equipment.
