Job summary

Aptive Environmental is seeking a hard-working Termite Pest Control Technician for a full-time, on-the-road role in the Alexandria, VA area. You will report to the Alexandria office once per week, join a team while thriving in an independent route-based setting, and service customers with effective termite solutions.

No prior experience is required; paid training is provided, and a company vehicle and full benefits are included.

Qualifications

• No experience required; company will train you.
• A valid US driver's license held for at least 3 years is required.
• Clean driving record (no more than 1 moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 in past 4 years).
• Drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route resolving customer pest concerns.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments delivered.
• Mix and apply pesticides per state and federal laws.
• Serve as subject matter expert for customers with pest solutions.

We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Termite Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Alexandria, VA. This position will report to our office in Alexandria, VA once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment, and excels working at an individual level.

Responsibilities Include

• Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided
• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
• Advise customers of potential problems
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage
• Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday

Qualifications
