Job summary

Fastenal Co. in New Holland, PA, is hiring for a Customer Site Warehouse Support. This entry-level role supports the movement of product at the customer site and operates from 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with potential schedule flexibility after onboarding.

You will use handheld devices, handle shipments, keep the work area clean, and follow health and safety rules. Candidates should be able to work in a team, lift up to 50 pounds, and pass a background/drug screen as required.

Working as Full-time Customer Site Warehouse Support, you will facilitate the movement of product through our customer site. This is an entry-level position based out of our branch located at 300 Diller Ave, New Holland, PA 17557. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operating computer programs and wireless handheld devices
• Moving and handling product accurately
• Auditing and preparing outgoing shipments to customer facilities
• Maintain the cleanliness/organization of work area
• Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
• Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
• Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Prior warehouse experience
• Prior experience operating a forklift
