Job summary

Amrize Buffalo Terminal is seeking a Terminal Operator to safely operate all location equipment to load and unload rail cars, boats and trucks, ensuring order accuracy and expeditious processing. This is a full time position.

You will maintain maintenance records, sample products, and perform clerical duties related to receipts, shipments, and inventory, while following safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma/GED.
• Experience: Basic knowledge about computers, Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Travel: 0% travel requirement.
• Experience with customer service and equipment operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a commitment to safety and policy adherence.
• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc.
• Load/unload material by bulk, bagged, waterway, or road methods as location requires.
• Understand and operate truck loading equipment.
• Operate and conduct general maintenance on mobile equipment and assist with general mechanical maintenance.
• Sample product from trucks and barges per company policies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and inventory records.
• Perform clerical functions recording receipts, shipments and inventory.
