Job summary

Shell in Washington state is seeking a Terminal Operator to safely operate the terminal and its pipelines, monitor movement, perform inspections, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will coordinate receipts and deliveries through pipelines, tanks, and docks, and work with the Control Center and scheduling teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Operator Qualifications (OQ).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa.
• Must obtain and hold a TWIC card per US Coast Guard.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate terminal, pipelines, and tank farm equipment.
• Monitor equipment, product movement, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate receipts, transfers, and deliveries via pipelines, tanks, trucks, marine docks, and rail.
• Perform routine inspections, measurements, and asset documentation.
• Support safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
