Job summary

LE080 BWC Terminal Holdings LLC in Manchester, NH is seeking an Assistant Terminal Manager to support the Terminal Manager in achieving business goals by leading staff, coordinating operations, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise terminal personnel, assist in recruiting and training, manage budgets and maintenance programs, coordinate vessel transfers, and prepare routine management reports for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent related work experience.
• Sufficient terminal related experience to effectively work as the Assistant Terminal Manager.
• TWIC eligible.
• 2nd class B boiler’s license preferred.
• Knowledge of staff management and ability to manage equipment.
• Ability to write reports and interpret documents (regulations, blueprints, bids).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to create and monitor budgets and cost estimates.
• Project management knowledge.
• Experience with contractors and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise terminal staff and coordinate time off requests.
• Assist Terminal Manager with staff recruitment, training, performance management, compensation, and discipline.
• Develop, implement, and manage PM program for terminal equipment.
• Coordinate vessel transfers, loading/unloading, and related logistics.
• Prepare and submit management reports.
• Assist in defining project scope, cost estimates, and goals.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.
• Promote Responsible Care and safety throughout operations.
