Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Terminal Operations Manager for the La Porte terminal. You will lead day-to-day operations, coach salaried and hourly staff, and drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.

You will manage budgets, CAPEX initiatives, and cross-functional integration with sales and logistics while ensuring training and regulatory compliance. The role requires hands-on leadership and a proven track record in industrial operations.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent.
• Ten years mechanical and process experience in industrial settings.
• Five years of leadership experience required.
• Experience in manufacturing operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day terminal operations to meet KPI targets.
• Develop budgets and CAPEX plans for the terminal.
• Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with Sales and Logistics to resolve issues.
• Train and develop staff; manage staffing levels and performance.
