Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Terminal Operations Manager for the La Porte Terminal to lead daily operations, drive safety, and achieve KPI targets while managing budgets and capital projects. The role requires directing salaried and hourly staff and ensuring regulatory compliance across terminal activities.

You will collaborate with Sales, Logistics, and other functions to optimize performance, implement improvements, and ensure training and qualifications for the team.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Business or Engineering or related field.
• 10 years mechanical/process experience and 5+ years leadership in manufacturing.
• Lime, cement, or minerals industry process experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for day-to-day terminal operations and safety.
• Develop budgets and CAPEX plans; manage KPIs (volume, costs, working capital).
• Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, and other functions to ensure regulatory compliance and performance.
• Direct and supervise terminal staff; recruit, train, and develop teams; manage performance.
• Drive safety and environmental performance to meet company and regulatory requirements.
