Job summary

Ingram Marine Group is seeking an Equipment Operator in the Ashland City, TN area. The role involves maintaining and servicing equipment, logging service records, and assisting with barge-related tasks in an outdoor environment.

Responsibilities include safe operation, sweeping and shoveling barges, operating sweepers, and truck driving to deliver equipment. Candidates should have basic mechanical aptitude, be able to obtain a forklift license, and meet the education requirement.

Qualifications

• Good sense of judgment and critical thinking.
• Ability to troubleshoot and determine mechanical solutions.
• Able to obtain forklift license.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred, 4–5 years experience.

Job Description

Ingram Marine Groupis looking for a Equipment Operatorin the Ashland City, TN area. The Equipment Operator will be responsible for maintaining and servicing all equipment, maintaining service logs, and keeping up with tools.

What you will be doing:

• Operate sweeper
• Laborer/Truck Driver: Truck driving, delivering equipment

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Good sense of judgment and critical thinking
• Ability to troubleshoot and determine mechanical solutions
• Able to obtain forklift license

Other Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred
• 4-5 years experience

Additional Information

Working Environment and Conditions:

• Outdoor/indoor working environment with exposure to loud noises, dust, and potentially hazardous materials
• Shift work may be required, including weekends or holidays, depending on the operation schedule
• Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety vests, hard hats, gloves, and steel-toeboots
