Sound Transit in Seattle is seeking a Project Control Specialist (Term-Limited) to oversee budget development, WBS setup, accruals, and cost reporting for assigned contracts and projects.

This role uses EVMS, Primavera Contract Manager, and Contract Manager System to track progress, perform variance analyses, and prepare monthly/quarterly reports. Hybrid work arrangement; term limit of 5 years.

Qualifications

• Professional project controls experience including budget development, WBS setup, and cost allocations.
• Experience with earned value management and reporting for contracts/projects.
• Ability to train staff on project controls policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains WBS and cost accounting for projects.
• Tracks budgets, accruals, and forecasts; prepares variance analyses.
• Manages change orders, baselining, and contract setup and closure.
