Job summary
The Cigna Group seeks a contractor to join our data analytics team as a Teradata SQL developer/lead and data analyst. You will work on an IBM Mainframe environment to build custom output files for clients, writing SQL to meet requirements and ensuring quality through Agile collaboration.
Candidates should have Teradata SQL experience, Unix/Linux shell scripting, and strong communication skills. This temporary assignment is hosted by Magnit with no visa sponsorship.
Qualifications
- Teradata SQL experience and IBM Mainframe background preferred.
- Experience in Agile environments and strong communication skills required.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux Shell scripting.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in an Agile team to deliver solutions on client requirements.
- Create technical designs and solutions that meet business needs.
- Write efficient Teradata SQL to extract data for outputs.
- Develop Unix/Linux shell scripts for data processing.
- Participate in all technical phases of each project and ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with QA teams to resolve design issues and ensure quality.
- Troubleshoot and maintain application and system solutions.
