Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Communication, Rhetoric, or closely related field from an accredited university.
• Active research agenda and published scholarly journal articles and/or books.
• Ability to secure external funding is highly valued.
• For Associate Professor, sustained scholarly achievement, teaching and mentorship, and external funding.
• For Professor, distinguished scholarly record with national/international recognition and leadership of an independent program.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in rhetoric and communication.
• Develop and maintain an active externally funded research program.
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate students and contribute to program growth.
