Qualifications

• MSW from a CSWE accredited Social Work program.
• Doctoral degree in Social Work OR related field.
• Two years of full-time post-MSW social work practice experience.
• Eligibility for licensure in ND as at least an LMSW.
• Two years of full-time teaching in a CSWE accredited MSW program.
• Two years of leadership experience in higher education.
• Experience with accreditation and reaffirmation.
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Teaching will be assigned in the MSW program (and possibly BSSW) at 20% effort, including advising and field coordination.
• Scholarly/creative activities will be determined by the candidate's research agenda; start-up funding available.
• Service activities will be determined with the department chair and university expectations.
• MSW Program Director responsibilities include coordinating curriculum changes, ensuring accuracy of MSW curriculum, participating in accreditation processes, recruiting and advising students, resolving student issues, and evaluating policies.
